Gas analytics

Gas Analysis

Our gas analysis systems are specialized for quantitative analytics of the IR-active trace gases (CO2, N2O, CH4) which are relevant in greenhouse. A gas chromatograph is modified for automatic sampling, measuring and calibration. Depending on the systems special tasks, a computer controlled set of experimental equipment is provided in laboratory or in the field.

P65 and P65i

This system provides fully automatic sampling, 3 component analysis, calibration and analysis of the contents of 64 sample bottles (100 ml). An additional port for manual injection of "mini-samples" (at least 3 ml) completes the system.
The new compact P65i unit includes the PC as an embedded component. In addition to the floppy disk, a USB-stick or a local area network can now be used for data exchange. (Click on an image for an enlarged version)

Micro cosmos

This is a laboratory system. 64 monolithic soil samples (columns) are held in nearly totally closed systems (microcosm) under quasi-stationary conditions. Gas production and consumption, irrigation and percolate are the objects of scientific investigation.

Mess mobile

This is a fully automatic system for the field. 16 chambers with up to 1 cubic meter are closed and sampled one after the other 24 hours a day. 64 temperatures and 64 analog values are logged simultanously. Our previous system "Bonanox" served a pioneer system for research on the "Waldsterben" (Death of the Forest) by the Institute of Soil Science and Forest Nutrition, University of Göttingen.
